About the Role
Amgen's Transformative Digital Capabilities team is hiring a Level 5 AI Engineer in Hyderabad to design, develop, evaluate, and deploy AI-enabled workflow capabilities for Process Development including agents, RAG pipelines, and evaluation harnesses.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's and minimum 7 years in engineering, CS, data science, applied math, statistics, or life sciences
- Hands-on experience building AI, ML, GenAI, agentic, RAG, or decision-support systems
- Strong Python with version control, testing, packaging, documentation
- Experimental data, scientific metadata, lab/process development workflows
Skills & Technologies
Required

Hands-on experience building AI, ML, GenAI, agentic, RAG, or decision-support systems
Strong Python with version control, testing, packaging, documentation

Translate ambiguous scientific problems into technical requirements
Biopharmaceutical development or regulated technical environment understanding
Cloud, data platform, API, or application development patterns
