Asset management firms are scaling production-ready Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for complex business challenges. Franklin Templeton is hiring a Sr AI/ML Engineer – GenAI & Agentic AI in Hyderabad for the AI Engineering team.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions from concept through production
- Execute high-impact AI initiatives and review and mentor fellow engineers
- Build multi-step agentic workflows and create production-ready architecture designs
- Partner with business teams to solve complex problems
- Collaborate with architects on scalable, secure solutions
- Help define enterprise AI standards and practices
- Contribute to knowledge graph and data pipeline strategies
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders
- Promote engineering excellence and support continuous improvement through mentoring
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of software or AI/Machine Learning engineering experience
- Proven experience delivering Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions to production
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading projects
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end Generative AI lifecycle
Skills & Technologies
Required

Proven experience delivering Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions to production
Experience mentoring engineers or leading projects
Strong understanding of the end-to-end Generative AI lifecycle
Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent orchestration
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI services
Strong Python development skills
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
