About the Role
MSD is hiring a Specialist, AI Engineering in Hyderabad to drive end-to-end GenAI application development including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, agentic AI systems, and LLM-based workflows.
The role provides technical leadership mentoring teams on scalable, responsible AI solutions at the Hyderabad Tech Center.
What you'll do
- Implement agentic AI systems with LangChain, Google ADK, Strands, Semantic Kernel
- Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques for LLM accuracy and robustness
- Build multimodal AI solutions for complex enterprise use cases
- Apply harness engineering to design, test, and evaluate AI/agent workflows
- Develop reusable agent tooling with MCP and A2A communication patterns
- Translate business problems into scalable GenAI-driven solutions
- Leverage Claude CLI, GitHub Copilot, Vertex AI, and Codex for development
- Support deployment and operationalization on AWS and GCP
What we're looking for
- Master's in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
- 5+ years end-to-end ML model development and cloud deployment (Databricks preferred)
- Expertise in RAG: embeddings, retrieval optimization, grounding, context management
- Prompt engineering techniques and AgentOps: observability, tracing, logging
Skills & Technologies
Required
Master's in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
5+ years end-to-end ML model development and cloud deployment (Databricks preferred)
Expertise in RAG: embeddings, retrieval optimization, grounding, context management
Prompt engineering techniques and AgentOps: observability, tracing, logging
Strong Python with tooling, function-calling, and agent integrations
Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent interaction patterns
NLP and text processing: tokenization, embeddings, preprocessing
Transformer architectures and modern LLM ecosystems
