About the Role
Enterprise banking is integrating Agentic AI and Generative AI into customer and colleague workflows at scale. Barclays Customer Digital and Data is hiring a Software Engineer - AVP in Pune to drive Agentic AI, Conversational AI, and GenAI solutions using AWS services and Large Language Models.
What you'll do
- You will translate business needs into scalable AI solutions integrated into enterprise products.
- Design and implement Agentic and GenAI solutions using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and AWS ML services
- Architect and implement LLM use cases (RAG, summarization, data analysis) at enterprise scale
- Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize LLMs for performance, accuracy, and safety
- Design and deploy conversational AI using Amazon Lex, Amazon Connect, and NLP pipelines
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX teams to embed AI into workflows
- Stay ahead of AI trends and apply them to drive continuous innovation
- Maintain system design integrity, review test strategies, AI ethics, and security compliance
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues
- Support use cases across multiple business domains
