About the Role
Want to build AI systems — not carry a pager? Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is hiring a Software Development Engineer II in Bengaluru for a VP-funded, multi-year charter building AI-native systems that eliminate reactive operational work across FBA.
You'll ship LLM-powered remediation agents, self-healing deployment platforms, and knowledge foundations adopted across 55+ teams and 500+ engineers.
What you'll do
- You will build AI-native engineering systems that eliminate reactive toil across FBA.
- Build agentic remediation systems that detect, diagnose, and resolve operational issues automatically
- Develop self-healing deployment platforms with safe primitives and automated integration testing
- Create the FBA knowledge foundation — OE infrastructure and knowledge-graph tooling
- Invent AI-native tooling measured by how much reactive toil it eliminates
- Contribute to architecture and design of scalable, reliable distributed systems
- Participate in full SDLC — coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language (Java, C++, Python, etc.)
- Experience with full software development lifecycle
