About the Role
Amazon's Retail Business Services (RBS) team is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Bengaluru. You'll build automation leveraging Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLM technology to scale retail operations that influence a multi-billion dollar business.
What you'll do
- You will design and develop retail automation systems at scale.
- Solve difficult problems applying appropriate technologies and best practices
- Invent, design, and build stable, performant software with your team
- Work on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, and peers
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, team planning, and metric reviews
- Train new members on team's software construction and operations
- Make appropriate trade-offs, re-use where possible, and be judicious about dependencies
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
