About the Role
JioStar is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Bengaluru for the Subscriptions Intelligence team. You will build pipelines and feature stores taking journey-prediction and intervention-matching models — churn risk, conversion propensity, and offer/response models — into production.
The role powers scalable, always-on personalized engagement across the subscriber lifecycle for India's largest subscription platform with 250M+ subscriptions.
What you'll do
- Take full responsibility for code, design, and project delivery with high quality and on-time completion
- Build end-to-end ML lifecycle systems for journey prediction, churn/conversion propensity, and intervention-matching
- Design sophisticated monitoring tracking prediction accuracy, drift, and intervention lift
- Create advanced experimentation frameworks for A/B testing journey-prediction algorithms
- Design low-latency, high-throughput serving systems with caching for real-time decisions
- Establish MLOps best practices using MLflow for experiment tracking, versioning, and deployment
- Build stream processing pipelines for real-time feature computation on lifecycle signals
- Scale and optimize training and serving of ML models including embedding scaling
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams on high-quality software solutions
What we're looking for
- Strong coding in Python, Java, Golang, or Scala
- Big Data frameworks: Spark and Kubernetes for data and ML workloads
- API monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch
- ML libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or Keras
