About the Role
Roboyo is hiring a Senior/Lead AI Engineer in Hyderabad to design, build, and deploy Python-based agentic automations for simple-to-medium complexity business tasks with technical leadership across delivery pods.
This lead role combines hands-on agentic AI development on GCP with mentoring engineers, client-facing technical representation, and driving automation roadmap delivery within Roboyo's Applied AI practice.
What you'll do
- Lead design, build, and deployment of Python-based agentic automations with technical pod leadership.
- Designing, developing, and deploying Python automations and agentic workflows end-to-end
- Building and integrating LLM-based agents and orchestration/tooling frameworks
- Deploying on GCP integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
- Writing automated tests and running CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
- Diagnosing defects and optimizing performance before support handoff
- Occasionally converting RPA automations to Python-based agentic solutions
- Acting as technical guide for junior and mid-level engineers
- Running peer code reviews enforcing coding standards
- Serving as technical representative in client meetings
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders on automation roadmap prioritization
- Staying current on agentic AI and automation trends
What we're looking for
- 5+ years hands-on Python software engineering including production services, APIs, and data pipelines
- Experience building or integrating agentic AI automations for business tasks
- Strong analytical and solution design skills for process automation
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and maintainable tested Python code
