About the Role
SS&C Technologies is hiring a Senior Java AI Engineer in Hyderabad to design and implement AI-enabled solutions that accelerate the application delivery lifecycle using Claude Code and Agentic Application Development Lifecycle (ADLC) practices.
This greenfield role transforms software engineering through AI-assisted development across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
What you'll do
- Design and implement AI-enabled solutions across the entire application delivery lifecycle.
- Designing Agentic-enabled workflows for developer productivity and software quality
- Leveraging Claude Code and AI-assisted tools from requirements through production
- Applying AI-assisted approaches throughout SDLC while maintaining quality standards
- Contributing to evolution from SDLC to Agentic ADLC models
- Implementing AI agents for planning, development, testing, review, integration, deployment, and ops support
- Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive engineering tasks
- Supporting production applications and troubleshooting with AI-assisted root cause analysis
- Creating technical documentation and operational procedures
- Collaborating across Product, BA, Architecture, QA, and Development teams
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline
- 10+ years hands-on software development in Java and Python
- Enterprise software application design and delivery experience
- Experience transforming SDLC to Agentic ADLC with AI agents
