About the Role
Medical technology innovation is accelerating with AI-powered patient care solutions, and Edwards Lifesciences is hiring a Senior Engineer, AI & Machine Learning to join its AI Factory team. This remote India role focuses on developing cutting-edge AI technologies to improve patient care for those fighting cardiovascular disease through innovative connected solutions.
You will work alongside Product Engineering Leads building desktop, web, and mobile software fueled by a robust AI engine within the Palantir Foundry and AIP environment.
What you'll do
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality ML solutions
- Develop and implement end-to-end AI/ML models and workflows within Palantir Foundry and AIP
- Leverage Palantir AIP features such as Agent Studio, RAG workflows, and copilots
- Conduct research on open-source tools and ML techniques relevant to the medical domain
- Design, implement, and optimize advanced machine learning algorithms
- Lead development and deployment of scalable and efficient ML models in production
- Drive research and experimentation to explore new ML techniques, tools, and frameworks
- Build end-to-end data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing large-scale datasets
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team processes and best practices
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (PhD is a plus)
- 5+ years professional experience in ML engineering with production model deployment
- 1+ years hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry ecosystem and AIP
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or similar
