About the Role
PwC India is hiring a Senior Associate Data Scientist within Data & Analytics Advisory to lead advanced machine learning and statistical modeling for complex healthcare problems in Hyderabad.

What you'll do
- Lead the development of advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complex healthcare problems.
- Establishing and promoting best practices in modeling, experimentation, and analytical rigor
- Converting real-world healthcare challenges into scalable data science solutions
- Collaborating with global stakeholders to influence product and business strategy
- Mentoring and enhancing the technical capabilities of the data science team
- Keeping up to date with the latest advances in ML and healthcare analytics
- Handling large, high-dimensional datasets and delivering clear, actionable insights
- Deploying models into production environments
- Applying transformers, deep learning frameworks, and graph-based machine learning (e.g., GNNs)
- Engaging stakeholders with excellent collaboration and communication skills

- 8+ years of experience in data science or related quantitative field
- Solid grounding in statistical modeling, machine learning, and complex problem-solving
- Proven experience handling large, high-dimensional datasets
- Expertise with modern ML methods including transformers (NLP and representation learning)
