About the Role
Ciklum is hiring a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer for a forward-deployed role in India (Remote). You will embed with client teams to map manual business workflows and design, build, and deploy custom AI-agent-powered solutions—from discovery through production deployment.
With over 4,000 skilled developers globally, Ciklum engineers technology for multinational organizations and scaling startups.
What you'll do
- Embed with client teams to analyze and decompose manual business workflows
- Lead end-to-end AI solution lifecycle from discovery to iteration
- Architect, build, and optimize multi-agent networks and reusable skills
- Connect workflows to enterprise infrastructure (SharePoint, Email, Jira, SAP)
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Design agent skills with tool use, streaming, and context management
- Build MCP servers and multi-agent coordination (A2A) systems
- Implement RAG with vector databases, chunking, and retrieval optimization
- Apply prompt engineering, evaluation benchmarks, and guardrails
- Build async REST APIs with FastAPI
- Deploy on AWS AgentCore, EC2/ECS, Lambda, RDS, and S3
- Set up CI/CD with Docker and GitHub Actions
What we're looking for
- Proven software development and Python backend engineering track record
- At least one production-grade LLM agent, skill building, or RAG pipeline project
- Full ownership of features from inception to release
- Client-facing communication and requirements gathering
