About the Role
Ciklum India is hiring a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer for a full-time role in India. This position focuses on developing enterprise Generative AI capabilities within the MALTS platform—building reusable frameworks, agentic services, and self-service platform components.

What you'll do
- Develop and enhance enterprise Generative AI platform capabilities and self-service tools
- Design and build AI-powered applications, agentic workflows, RAG solutions, and MCP-enabled services
- Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and platform components for AI/ML lifecycle management
- Build frameworks supporting model development, fine-tuning, deployment, inferencing, and observability
- Implement event-driven and streaming solutions with Kafka and distributed processing
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, testing strategies, and DevOps practices
- Collaborate with platform engineers, architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and estimation
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, governance, and resiliency
- Build agentic applications, AI assistants, and workflow automation with containers and MCP architectures
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain platform services for operational excellence
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline
- 6+ years software engineering with strong Python-based application development
- Experience developing AI/ML, Data Science, or analytics applications in enterprise environments
- Modern GenAI and Data Science platform architectures—containers, Jupyter, VS Code-based development
Skills & Technologies
Required

6+ years software engineering with strong Python-based application development
Experience developing AI/ML, Data Science, or analytics applications in enterprise environments
Modern GenAI and Data Science platform architectures—containers, Jupyter, VS Code-based development
Scalable REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI or similar frameworks
Vector stores, inference services, model-serving technologies, and AI orchestration frameworks
MLFlow, Kubeflow, model deployment, fine-tuning, and inference frameworks
API Gateway integration, JWT-based authentication, and enterprise security controls
