About the Role
Amazon's International Machine Learning team builds novel ML solutions for India-first and emerging market problems impacting bottom-line and top-line business metrics. Amazon is hiring a Senior Applied Scientist to create state-of-the-art solutions using machine learning and statistical techniques at terabyte scale.
What you'll do
- Use ML and analytical techniques to create scalable business solutions
- Analyze Amazon's historical business data to automate and optimize key processes
- Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy innovative scalable predictive models
- Research and implement novel ML and statistical approaches
- Work with software engineering teams for real-time model implementations
- Work with business partners to identify problems and propose ML solutions
- Establish scalable automated processes for data analyses, model development, and validation
- Lead projects and mentor scientists and engineers in ML techniques
What we're looking for
- 7+ years building ML models for business applications
- PhD or Master's degree
- Programming in Java, C++, Python, or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
