About the Role
Nokia is hiring a Senior AI Engineer in Bengaluru (onsite) to build infrastructure powering AI agents and ML systems end-to-end — from fine-tuning foundation models to shipping production-grade agent harnesses on Kubernetes.
This role sits at the intersection of ML engineering, platform engineering, and applied AI.
What you'll do
- Design and build agent harnesses enabling AI agents to perceive, reason, plan, and act
- Develop and maintain MLOps framework for training, evaluation, and deployment workflows
- Fine-tune foundation LLMs; manage datasets, training runs, and evaluation pipelines
- Deploy and operate model serving, autoscaling, and observability on Kubernetes
- Build and integrate AI agents using modern agent frameworks
- Apply software engineering rigor across all deliverables
- Collaborate with researchers and product teams from prototype to production
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with 6+ years Python production experience
- Hands-on agentic systems experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
- Exposure to MLOps pipelines with Kubeflow or similar
- Practical fine-tuning experience with Llama, Mistral, Qwen, or similar models
Skills & Technologies
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with 6+ years Python production experience
Hands-on agentic systems experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
Exposure to MLOps pipelines with Kubeflow or similar
Practical fine-tuning experience with Llama, Mistral, Qwen, or similar models
Kubernetes deployment experience including Helm, operators, and networking
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure compute, storage, IAM, and ML services
SOLID principles, secure coding, static analysis, and unit/integration testing
