About the Role
BNP Paribas is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Chennai for Tribe AI, driving industrialization of AI solutions that are reliable, scalable, and aligned with technical best practices.
You will act as the bridge between Data Scientists and IT Production, transforming prototypes into high-performance AI services.
What you'll do
- Design, maintain, and optimize data sourcing pipelines using ETL, CFT, Denodo, and Airflow
- Maintain Python environments — audit dependencies, upgrade libraries, enforce compatibility
- Enforce vulnerability management with security scans and secure coding practices
- Support CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) for containerized ML models
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents in QA/Production
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and IT teams on production-ready architectures
- Promote software engineering best practices within the squad
- Propose innovative solutions for LLMs and Agentic AI

- 4+ years professional Python programming (OOP, code quality, security, performance)
- Python environment building — uv, pip, mamba, micromamba
- ML engineering — MLOps, model versioning, deployment
- Docker, Kubernetes — scaling, resource management
