About the Role
Solventum is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Bengaluru to build and maintain the pipelines that power AI in Healthcare Information Systems (HIS). This practical, detail-oriented role focuses on MLOps, data reliability, and production stability in a regulated healthcare environment.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning with automated testing, deployment, and version control
- Deploy ML models as scalable APIs and microservices meeting performance and latency requirements
- Implement monitoring tools for model performance, data drift, and system health
- Develop and optimize ETL processes transforming healthcare data (FHIR, HL7) into usable datasets
- Build and maintain feature stores ensuring training/production consistency
- Work with backend teams to integrate ML outputs into healthcare applications
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented Python code; participate in code reviews
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to package and orchestrate ML workloads
- Follow protocols ensuring HIPAA and HITRUST compliance for data handling and deployments
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years professional experience in software/data engineering; 2+ years ML production environments
- Strong Python proficiency and SQL familiarity
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker)
Skills & Technologies
Required

3–5 years professional experience in software/data engineering; 2+ years ML production environments
Strong Python proficiency and SQL familiarity
Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker)
ML libraries: PyTorch or Scikit-learn; MLOps tools: Airflow, Prefect, BentoML, or Kubeflow
Data processing: Pandas, Spark, or dbt
