About the Role
Solventum is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Bangalore to build and maintain pipelines powering AI in Healthcare Information Systems, bridging data science and software engineering with MLOps, cloud infrastructure, and HIPAA-compliant deployments.
This practical role focuses on CI/CD for ML, model serving as APIs, healthcare data pipelines (FHIR, HL7), and production reliability in a regulated clinical environment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain pipelines powering AI in Healthcare Information Systems with MLOps excellence.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML with MLflow or Git version control
- Deploying ML models as scalable APIs meeting clinical performance and latency requirements
- Implementing monitoring for model performance, data drift, and system health
- Developing and optimizing ETL for healthcare data (FHIR, HL7) into training datasets
- Building and maintaining feature stores for training-production consistency
- Integrating ML outputs with core healthcare backend applications
- Writing clean, maintainable, well-documented Python with code reviews
- Using Docker and Kubernetes to package and orchestrate ML workloads
- Following HIPAA and HITRUST security standards for data handling and deployments
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years software or data engineering with 2+ years in ML production environments
- Strong Python proficiency and SQL familiarity; Go or Java knowledge a plus
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Docker containerization
