About the Role
Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is hiring a Lead ML Engineer in Bangalore to lead and own the end-to-end production lifecycle of ML and LLM models, ensuring deployability, scalability, observability, and maintainability.
This hybrid role defines MLOps standards, designs CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads, mentors ML engineers, and partners with Data Scientists to industrialize research into production systems.
What you'll do
- Lead and own the production lifecycle of ML and LLM models across the organization.
- Leading end-to-end production lifecycle of ML and LLM models ensuring scalability and observability
- Defining and enforcing ML engineering and MLOps standards across teams
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads
- Acting as technical lead and mentor for ML engineers and contributors
- Partnering with Data Scientists to industrialize research into production systems
- Collaborating with Platform, Cloud, and Data Engineering on infrastructure alignment
- Owning model monitoring, drift detection, testing, rollback, and incident analysis
- Evaluating new ML, GenAI, and MLOps tools with pragmatic enterprise mindset
- Contributing to ML governance, reproducibility, and responsible AI practices
What we're looking for
- Production-grade Python programming
- Azure cloud platform (must have)
- CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
- Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration
