About the Role

BMC Helix is hiring a Lead GPT / Generative AI Developer in Pune to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale AI solutions powered by Large Language Models.
This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership to architect AI platforms, mentor engineering teams, and deliver secure, scalable, business-focused AI applications.
What you'll do
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Generative AI solutions
- Define engineering standards, coding practices, and architectural guidelines for AI application development
- Drive technical decision-making for AI platforms, frameworks, and technology selection
- Mentor and coach developers, conduct code reviews, and foster engineering excellence
- Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications, business workflows, and internal systems
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build robust data pipelines supporting AI solutions
- Design secure integrations with document repositories, databases, APIs, and enterprise platforms
- Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security, governance, and privacy standards
- Drive architecture reviews and design discussions
- Establish best practices for AI development, testing, deployment, and governance
- Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to prioritize AI initiatives
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 8-12 years of software engineering experience
- 3-5 years designing and delivering production-grade Generative AI solutions
- Experience on Helix ITSM product portfolio
