About the Role
Construction technology is being transformed by AI agents, copilots, and generative AI systems. vConstruct, a Pune-based Construction Technology company and wholly owned subsidiary of DPR Construction, is hiring a Lead AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions across construction workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable ML systems including data pipelines, training workflows, and real-time inference
- Develop and deploy generative AI applications including RAG pipelines, copilots, and intelligent assistants
- Build and integrate AI solutions into production using APIs, microservices, and model-serving frameworks
- Develop predictive models, optimization algorithms, and deep learning systems for construction
- Apply statistical methods, feature engineering, and experimentation frameworks
- Implement LLM-based applications including prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector search
- Contribute to agent-based workflows and orchestration frameworks
- Lead a team of ML engineers and data scientists
- Establish engineering standards and system design principles
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
What we're looking for
- 8–12 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering
- Strong programming expertise in Python
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
