About the Role
Barclays is hiring a Lead AI Engineer in Bengaluru/Pune to design and build core AI/ML solutions powering enterprise AI capabilities including agentic workflows, LLM applications, and MLOps tooling.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's+ in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
- 8+ years software engineering with 3+ years building AI/ML systems at enterprise scale
- Strong Python (FastAPI, asyncio) and/or Go/Java with production APIs
- Agentic AI and LLM applications: multi-agent orchestration, tool use, planning
Skills & Technologies
Required

8+ years software engineering with 3+ years building AI/ML systems at enterprise scale
Strong Python (FastAPI, asyncio) and/or Go/Java with production APIs

AWS: EC2/EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, Bedrock or SageMaker
Docker and Kubernetes containerization experience
