About the Role
Dentsu Global Services is hiring a Lead AI Architect to serve as the technical anchor for Dentsu's agentic AI engineering team in DGS. Dentsu has over 120 years of innovation in reaching, engaging, and nurturing relationships with audiences globally.
This role requires 10–15 years of experience with a mandate background in Data Engineering/Data Science before moving to AgenticAI/GenAI. Hybrid work across Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai.
What you'll do
- You will write code, review code, and set technical direction as the technical anchor for the agentic AI engineering team.
- Lead technical architecture for multi-agent systems, LLM orchestration, and AI automation workflows
- Set up and maintain agentic engineering stack: frameworks, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, deployment patterns
- Own technical design for AI orchestration use cases across 4+ client implementations
- Build and maintain reusable agent components, tool-use libraries, and prompt templates
- Lead Genie space setup and configuration for client data exploration
- Mentor Senior Agentic Engineers; conduct code reviews and architecture discussions
- Evaluate LLM providers and recommend model selection, cost optimization, latency tradeoffs
- Bridge gap between Data Science model outputs and agentic deployment
- Collaborate with onshore Senior AI Engineer on shared architecture decisions
- Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks
What we're looking for
- 7+ years software engineering with at least 3 years in AI/ML engineering
- Deep expertise in Python and production-grade software architecture
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications at scale
- Strong knowledge of agent orchestration: LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or custom frameworks
Skills & Technologies
Required
7+ years software engineering with at least 3 years in AI/ML engineering
Deep expertise in Python and production-grade software architecture
Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications at scale
Strong knowledge of agent orchestration: LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or custom frameworks
Cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred): container orchestration and serverless patterns
Track record mentoring engineers and raising team engineering standards
MLOps: model serving, monitoring, versioning, and cost management
Strong system design with distributed systems and API architecture experience
