About the Role
Storytelling platforms at scale require robust infrastructure spanning cloud, CI/CD, data layers, and AI workloads. Pratilipi is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps) to own AWS infrastructure, build Jenkins pipelines, and stand up the operational substrate for AI in production.
What you'll do
- The Infrastructure Engineer owns cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, data layer, and AI operational substrate.
- Own AWS infrastructure through Terraform with clickops-free console as target
- Build Jenkins pipelines that are fast, safe, and self-serve
- Drive cost optimisation across cloud resources
- Own media delivery at scale with Cloudflare CDN and transcoding
- Operate self-managed data layer and lead migrations (e.g. Redis → Valkey)
- Stand up GPU capacity, inference gateways, key rotation, and cost-per-request visibility
- Build observability for LLM agents: traces, token/cost accounting, eval hooks
- Partner with AI/ML team on capacity planning and canary rollouts
- Own reliability across services with SLOs, alerting, and incident response
- Add IaC checks, deploy gates, and paved paths to reduce human error
What we're looking for
- 4-6 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure with production systems at meaningful scale
- Strong AWS hands-on: ECS on EC2, VPCs, IAM, multi-AZ design
- Proficiency with Terraform — writing modules others reuse
- Jenkins in production with developer experience focus in CI/CD
Skills & Technologies
Required
4-6 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure with production systems at meaningful scale
Strong AWS hands-on: ECS on EC2, VPCs, IAM, multi-AZ design
Proficiency with Terraform — writing modules others reuse
Jenkins in production with developer experience focus in CI/CD
Python, Ansible, and shell scripting for automation
Operated databases in production: RDS MySQL, MongoDB, Redis/Valkey
Working familiarity with Kafka and Cassandra/ScyllaDB
Strong grasp of Linux internals and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing)
