About the Role
BharatGen is building India's Multilingual Large Language Model. BharatGen is hiring a Generative AI Engineer to design, build, fine-tune, and deploy foundational generative AI models and agentic systems across text, speech, and vision modalities.
What you'll do
- Develop and train foundational GenAI models: text-to-text, text-to-speech, ASR, vision-language
- Fine-tune and adapt models for specific tasks and domains
- Build pipelines for data curation, preprocessing, training, evaluation
- Implement debugging, CI/CD, and observability across development lifecycle
- Develop RAG pipelines and prompt engineering strategies
- Monitor, benchmark, and improve model performance reducing hallucinations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI into production pipelines
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS, AI/ML, Data Science with 2–5 years applied ML/AI experience
- Strong Python with computer science fundamentals
- PyTorch, distributed training (DDP, NCCL), quantization
- Git, DVC, W&B, MLFlow, Kubeflow for MLOps
Skills & Technologies
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in CS, AI/ML, Data Science with 2–5 years applied ML/AI experience
Strong Python with computer science fundamentals
PyTorch, distributed training (DDP, NCCL), quantization
Git, DVC, W&B, MLFlow, Kubeflow for MLOps
RAG: chunking, embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus)
MCP, A2A, Agent Communication Protocol familiarity
Preferred Skills
