ReNew is hiring a Deputy Manager - Data Scientist (Data Science & AI Engineer) in Gurugram with a strong foundation in predictive forecasting and at least one production-grade GenAI deployment.

What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable GenAI applications, copilots, and chatbot systems
- Build and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Develop agentic workflows using LangGraph/LangChain
- Apply forecasting and predictive modeling to renewable energy use cases
- Design and build APIs and AI microservices using FastAPI
- Develop observability and monitoring pipelines
- Optimize AI systems for latency, scalability, reliability, and cost
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production-grade AI and DS solutions
What we're looking for
- 1-2 production-grade GenAI projects shipped — RAG chatbot/copilot serving real users
- Strong predictive/forecasting data science — time-series, regression, ensemble methods
- Statistical modeling, feature engineering, model evaluation for forecasting
- LangGraph, LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks
Skills & Technologies
Required
1-2 production-grade GenAI projects shipped — RAG chatbot/copilot serving real users
Strong predictive/forecasting data science — time-series, regression, ensemble methods
Statistical modeling, feature engineering, model evaluation for forecasting
LangGraph, LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks
RAG architecture — embeddings, chunking, retrieval tuning, vector search
Strong Python programming; FastAPI REST API experience
Vector databases — Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Milvus, or FAISS
Observability — OpenTelemetry, LangSmith, Langfuse, Grafana, Azure Monitor
