Position Overview
Medline's AI team in Pune is looking for a motivated Data Scientist to execute proof-of-concepts and build minimum viable products for ML and GenAI use cases. You'll develop and refine ML models, build GenAI solutions such as LLM-based chatbots, collaborate with AI Engineers on enterprise integrations, and contribute to best practices and playbooks for AI/ML delivery.
What you'll do
- Execute PoCs and MVPs for AI and ML projects with practical implementation focus
- Develop and refine supervised and unsupervised ML models
- Build and deploy GenAI solutions including LLMs, RAG systems, and chatbots
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data for model training
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights
- Evaluate model performance and monitor GenAI outputs for bias and hallucinations
- Collaborate with AI Lead, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Document model development processes and findings
- Stay updated on AI, ML, and GenAI advancements
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles
- Hands-on ML model development and deployment experience
- Exposure to GenAI technologies is a plus
