About the Role
Ford Motor Company is hiring a Data Scientist with deep NLP, LLM, and GenAI expertise to design automotive industry AI applications, build agentic workflows, and deploy production ML systems on GCP.
This role spans the complete Gen AI model lifecycle from training to deployment and monitoring.
What you'll do
- Design NLP/LLM/GenAI applications/products with robust coding practices
- Explore SoTA models/techniques for automotive industry use cases
- Conduct ML experiments; build models within memory and latency restrictions
- Deploy REST APIs or minimalistic UI using Docker and Kubernetes
- Showcase NLP/LLM/GenAI applications through Streamlit, Dash, Gradio
- Converge multibots into super apps using LLMs with multimodalities
- Develop agentic workflows using Autogen, Agentbuilder, LangGraph
- Build modular AI/ML products consumable at scale
- Work through complete Gen AI lifecycle — training, deployment, monitoring
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or Science
- High familiarity with DL theory/practices in NLP applications
- Python — LangGraph, LangChain, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Huggingface
- NLP fundamentals — text processing, BERT/transformer fine-tuning, NER, QA
