Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs is hiring a Data Science Engineer in Gurgaon for professionals with 4–6 years of experience in Python programming, machine learning, and web application development.
This role combines data science, deep learning, and full-stack Python development to build scalable digital propositions for Deutsche Telekom customers across Europe and the US.
What you'll do
- The Data Science Engineer will develop ML models and software products using Python frameworks.
- Develop and deliver complete web applications using Python, Django, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs
- Build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python, SageMaker, or Azure ML
- Write testing code, debug programs, and integrate applications with third-party web services
- Automate processes using Python, VBA, and crawler development technologies
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement efficient and well-written Python code
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and mentor junior developers
- Design, develop, and maintain software products using Python frameworks like Django or Flask
- Conduct data processing, analysis, and visualization using Python or R tools
- Implement Python scripts to extract information from different data sources for business analytics
- Create functional and efficient server-side applications as a Python developer
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field (Graduate or Post-Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics)
- 4-6 years of experience in programming with Python, Java, or R
- Strong background in statistics and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, LLM, RAG
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and RDBMS (preferably SQL Server)
Skills & Technologies
Required
