About the Role
Philips is hiring a Data and AI Engineer in Bangalore as a Senior AI Engineer for the Azurion Eye proposition — developing state-of-the-art computer-vision models using live camera feed for image-guided therapy.
The role spans concept validation through production MLOps on AWS, Databricks, and Kubernetes.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, train, and validate computer-vision models
- Implement multi-class object-detection and tracking with CNN and deep-learning architectures
- Deploy ML models using Databricks, AWS, Bedrock, and Kubernetes
- Implement robust MLOps pipelines for CI/CD and monitoring
- Automate model versioning, deployment, and rollback with MLflow, Airflow, ClearML
- Collaborate on data schemas, annotation guidelines, and ground-truth labelling
- Optimize inference for edge and cloud real-time throughput
- Ensure explainability, clinical safety, and regulatory expectations
- Author technical documentation, model cards, and training pipeline artefacts
What we're looking for
- 10+ years developing and deploying computer-vision or imaging-AI models
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS, ML, Data Science, AI, or related field
- Computer vision: image classification, object detection, real-time visual tracking
- MLOps best practices and production-grade AI/ML systems
