About the Role
Carelon Global Solutions India is hiring an Artificial Intelligence Engineer with Python and LLM expertise to develop microservice architectures, enterprise-grade data pipelines, and scalable LLM inference systems. The role requires 6+ years in AI engineering with focus on healthcare AI solutions, prompt engineering, and MLOps at scale.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain microservice architecture and API management (REST, gRPC)
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers on data for AI/ML models
- Design and implement enterprise-grade data pipelines for AI/ML models
- Debug, optimize, and enhance machine learning models
- Manage infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Operate Kubernetes with advanced configurations and service mesh
- Design scalable LLM inference with GPU memory optimization and quantization
- Engage in prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning for semantic retrieval and chatbots
- Document architectures and experiments with MLflow or DVC
- Research LLM optimization: quantization and knowledge distillation
- Design NLP solutions: text classification, sentiment analysis, topic modeling
- Execute A/B tests for ML models and analyze results for strategic improvements
- Stay current with AI advancements and integrate new methodologies
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's in Engineering; Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- 6+ years in AI Engineering
- Advanced Python with NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- LLM frameworks: Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain; prompt engineering
