About the Role
AI is transforming finance consulting operations—and Synmatch AI's client is hiring an AI Engineer to design and deploy AI agents and automated workflows that drive AI adoption across the organization. This is a hands-on, remote-restricted role in India where you'll build production-ready agentic solutions at the intersection of technology and finance consulting.
With 3–4+ years of AI engineering experience, you'll take early ownership of projects in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
- The AI Engineer will build agentic workflows and drive AI adoption in a finance consulting environment.
- Design and deploy AI agents and automated workflows supporting internal operations and client projects
- Actively shape how Artificial Intelligence is used across a finance consulting environment
- Identify automation potential in existing processes and translate them into production-ready solutions
- Build integrations between LLMs and internal/external tools, data sources, and platforms (APIs, databases, cloud services)
- Build and maintain multi-step automations, RAG pipelines, and tool-calling agents using modern AI frameworks
- Work closely with finance consultants to understand real business processes and convert them into automated, AI-driven solutions
- Take early ownership of projects in a hands-on, fast-moving environment
What we're looking for
- 3-4+ years of comparable experience with AI platforms and LLMs (Claude, GPT-4o) including prompt engineering
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building agentic workflows or automation solutions in production
- Knowledge of API integrations, webhooks, and no-code/low-code automation tools
- Structured, solution-oriented thinking with fast prototyping capabilities
Skills & Technologies
Required
3-4+ years of comparable experience with AI platforms and LLMs (Claude, GPT-4o) including prompt engineering
Demonstrated hands-on experience building agentic workflows or automation solutions in production
Knowledge of API integrations, webhooks, and no-code/low-code automation tools
Structured, solution-oriented thinking with fast prototyping capabilities
Interest in finance topics with strong communication skills for non-technical teams
Fluent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level)
