American Express is hiring an Analyst-Data Science in Gurugram and Bengaluru for professionals with 0-30 months of analytics experience.
This hybrid role involves developing, deploying, and validating predictive models that enable profitable decisions across risk, fraud, and marketing.
Position Overview
The Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) team drives profitable business growth by reducing fraud risk and maintaining industry-low credit loss rates. As part of CFR Analytics & Data Science, you will solve real-world business problems while getting exposure to top leaders in analytics, data science, and machine learning. Every decision—from targeting customers to underwriting and managing onboarding experience—is advised by groundbreaking analytics and data science.
What you'll do
- Understand the core business of American Express and levers behind various decisions
- Analyze large amounts of data to derive business insights and create innovative solutions
- Leverage the power of closed loop through Amex network for intelligent decisions
- Innovate with newer approaches using big data and machine learning solutions
- Articulate and structure business findings across prospect and customer domains to leadership
- Maintain external lens on developments in Finance, Payments, and Analytics
- Development, deployment and validation of predictive models for risk, fraud, and marketing
