About the Role
Optum is hiring an AIML Engineer in Hyderabad to design state-of-the-art AI solutions for medical applications, enhancing NLP technologies and deploying clinical NLP at scale in production.

What you'll do
- Drive design and development of AI solutions for medical applications
- Enhance existing NLP technologies and extend to cloud clinical applications
- Develop novel ML/DL techniques for information extraction and synthesis
- Translate research code into production clinical NLP solutions
- Work from PoC through performance characterization to production launch
- Apply statistical methods, deep learning, and LLM technologies
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's in CS, Machine Learning, or related field
- 5+ years applied AI/ML with production-grade model delivery track record
- PyTorch experience
- Hybrid NLP combining symbolic and ML approaches
