About the Role
Retail Insights is hiring an AI/ML Engineer in Bengaluru to design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models for business problems across retail, e-commerce, and consumer domains.
This role performs feature engineering, model training, deployment, and lifecycle management for personalization, demand forecasting, recommendations, churn prediction, and pricing use cases.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models to solve business problems.
- Working with business, product, and data teams to translate requirements into AI solutions
- Performing data exploration, feature engineering, and model training on large datasets
- Building models for personalization, demand forecasting, recommendations, churn prediction, and pricing
- Evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics and improving accuracy
- Collaborating with data engineers on reliable data pipelines for training and inference
- Supporting model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management in production
- Implementing explainability, validation, and bias checks
- Documenting model assumptions, methodologies, and outcomes
- Supporting UAT, business validation, and post-deployment optimization
- Acting as subject-matter expert for AI/ML best practices and frameworks
- Mentoring junior AI/ML engineers
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/Machine Learning or advanced analytics roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Python-based ML development
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modeling
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data
