About the Role
Zensar Technologies is hiring an AI Engineering Lead/Architect in Pune to own end-to-end delivery of a $10M+ engineering portfolio, embed AI across the SDLC, and drive portfolio revenue growth with full P&L accountability.
This senior leadership role spans delivery, AI-driven engineering acceleration, client engagement, and people development.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end delivery of engineering portfolio on time, on budget, to quality bar
- Lead platform build, modernisation, and custom application programmes on cloud
- Set engineering standards: architecture guardrails, code quality, DevSecOps, release cadence
- Embed AI tooling across SDLC and operationalise agentic systems
- Carry full P&L accountability for portfolio margin and revenue
- Serve as senior delivery point-of-contact for clients
- Facilitate governance forums — steering committees, QBRs, escalation calls
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering organisation
- Champion upskilling around AI, cloud, and modern engineering practices
