About the Role
Medline is hiring an AI Engineer in Pune to design, build intelligent applications, and operationalize AI-powered search experiences and autonomous/assisted agents using Microsoft's AI ecosystem.
The role requires 7–10 years full stack experience with 2–4 years in AI engineering on Azure.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end AI search and agent systems
- Implement ingestion pipelines, chunking, and metadata enrichment
- Build RAG pipelines with Azure OpenAI Service
- Configure Azure AI Search for vector and hybrid search with reranking
- Apply prompt engineering and performance tuning
- Understand Azure cloud architecture: App Service, AKS, Key Vault, Monitor, DevOps
- Optimize latency, token usage, embeddings, and caching
What we're looking for
- 7–10 years full stack experience in .NET ecosystem
- 2–4 years AI engineering experience
- Azure OpenAI Service and embeddings — must have
