About the Role
Global enterprises need AI engineers who can develop, deploy, and maintain production ML solutions across diverse sectors. Hitachi Digital Services is hiring an AI Engineer for its Global Development Center (GDC).
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for training and evaluation
- Evaluate and optimize model performance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Deploy AI solutions into production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities
- Conduct research and stay current with AI/ML advancements
- Document AI system architecture, design decisions, and implementation details
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI model performance and deployment
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Electrical Engineering, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras)
- Experience with data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy)
Skills & Technologies
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Electrical Engineering, or related quantitative field
3+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions
Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras)
Experience with data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy)
Solid understanding of ML algorithms — deep learning, supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML development and deployment
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
