About the Role
CGI is hiring an AI Developer (Senior Software Engineer) to design, develop, and deploy robust backend architectures and cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. CGI is among the world's largest independent IT and business consulting services firms with 94,000 consultants globally.
This role requires 4 to 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
What you'll do
- You will design backend architectures and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML solutions using modern Python frameworks.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance scalable APIs and microservices using Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI
- Build and integrate AI/ML models into production systems using Azure AI and AWS AI services
- Utilize PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics
- Implement and optimize LLMs and RAG architectures for data retrieval and generation
- Manage, configure, and administer Azure Cloud environments for application hosting and AI workloads
- Oversee deployment lifecycle and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins
- Manage deployments across VM servers and cloud infrastructure
What we're looking for
- 4–6 years experience; Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Proven track record in Python API development and building/managing microservices
