About the Role
Sauce Labs is hiring an AI Architect to design and build the next generation of AI-powered features for its continuous testing platform. This role requires 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture of production-grade systems.
What you'll do
- You will architect scalable and robust AI solutions transforming how customers gain insights from test data and production environments.
- Define AI architecture for cutting-edge AI/ML solutions ensuring scalability, performance, quality, and reliability
- Architect AI systems for actionable insights from test run logs: patterns, anomalies, performance trends
- Design AI solutions integrating with error reporting for production issue analysis
- Develop architectures combining test runs and production data for holistic application quality view
- Architect AI models for automated failure analysis, root cause diagnosis, and remediation suggestions
- Design AI-driven intelligent test case generation capabilities
- Leverage GCP services and self-hosted Gemini Flash models
- Collaborate with data engineering on data pipelines from Snowflake and BigQuery to AI models
- Identify delivery process improvement opportunities through AI tools
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship; participate in AI governance
- Stay abreast of AI/ML advancements and evaluate new technologies
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years software development and architecture of production-grade systems
- Extensive AI/ML architecture experience designing and deploying large-scale systems in production
- Deep hands-on GCP experience: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow
Skills & Technologies
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years software development and architecture of production-grade systems
Extensive AI/ML architecture experience designing and deploying large-scale systems in production
Deep hands-on GCP experience: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow
Generative AI experience with LLMs, particularly Gemini Flash: prompt engineering, agent orchestration, context windows, output validation
Big data and analytics: Snowflake, BigQuery, large datasets
Software engineering foundation: scalable system design, microservices architectures
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
