About the Role
Solventum is hiring an AI Architect – Modern AI Applications in Bangalore to lead high-impact AI Platform development for healthcare information systems (HIS) applications. Solventum is a new healthcare company with a long legacy of solving big challenges that improve lives and help healthcare professionals perform at their best.
This role requires a Master's in CS/AI/ML with 10+ years developing AI/ML platforms on Cloud and on-Prem, or 15+ years software engineering with 10+ years building AI/ML platforms. Hybrid work in Bangalore with up to 20% domestic travel.
What you'll do
- You will lead technical breakthroughs and design novel AI architectures for healthcare operations integration.
- Architect and develop AI platform supporting LLMs for healthcare-specific language and regulatory requirements
- Build AI pipelines processing structured and unstructured healthcare data (FHIR, HL7, clinical notes, claims data)
- Contribute to domain-specific model architectures for clinical decision-making, revenue cycle management, patient engagement
- Serve as primary technical authority on AI Platform related development within product teams
- Mentor junior AI designers and engineers through code reviews, research guidance, and workshops
- Drive internal knowledge-sharing on emerging AI trends, frameworks, and best practices
- Implement rigorous model evaluation frameworks for accuracy, robustness, and fairness
- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy and data security regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST)
- Partner with engineering to move research prototypes into production environments
