About the Role
Qualcomm India is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer / Senior Engineer in Hyderabad to build next-generation AI-powered engineering solutions that automate and accelerate software development workflows across embedded systems and platform software.
This role combines Agentic AI, LLMs, and AI-driven automation with strong fundamentals in embedded Linux, device drivers, SoC platform enablement, and the full software development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Develop intelligent AI agents and workflows spanning the entire software development lifecycle.
- Designing, developing, and deploying Agentic AI solutions for engineering automation
- Building AI agents for code generation, review, and analysis
- Automating build and CI/CD processes with AI-driven workflows
- Generating, executing, and validating tests with AI agents
- Performing failure triage and root-cause analysis with AI assistance
- Automating release processes and engineering knowledge management
- Developing AI applications with LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, and MCP-based tool ecosystems
- Integrating AI solutions with source control, issue tracking, and test infrastructure
- Designing human-in-the-loop and autonomous workflows with governance controls
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, embedded systems, platform software, or AI-based solutions
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
- Hands-on experience developing AI applications using modern LLM frameworks

Strong experience in embedded Linux, Android, RTOS, Zephyr, QuRT, or similar platforms
