About the Role
Rimini Street is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer in Hyderabad to design and build the cognitive architecture of AI agents that interact with enterprise ERP systems across Oracle, SAP, and related platforms.
This is agent behavior engineering—not prompt engineering—covering multi-agent coordination, autonomous decision governance, RAG architecture, and human-in-the-loop workflows within the Rimini ONE unified enterprise software program.
What you'll do
- Design and build the cognitive architecture of AI agents interacting with enterprise ERP systems.
- Designing reasoning frameworks for how agents decompose complex ERP tasks with governance checkpoints
- Building agent personas and behavioral profiles for Rimini Solution domains
- Architecting dynamic MCP tool selection based on context, confidence, and task requirements
- Designing conversation state management for long-running agent sessions
- Building confidence scoring frameworks for governance decisions (proceed, verify, escalate, halt)
- Designing A2A communication patterns and supervisor/worker agent hierarchies
- Building conflict resolution for contradictory agent assessments
- Translating OPA policies into agent-actionable decision boundaries
- Designing retrieval-augmented reasoning and institutional memory feedback loops
- Building evaluation frameworks for agent behavior, scenario-based testing, and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- 7+ years software engineering with strong Python and/or Java proficiency
- 3+ years AI/ML systems in production including LLM-based applications
- 1+ years designing or building agentic AI systems (reason, plan, use tools—not just chatbots)
- Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel
Skills & Technologies
Required
7+ years software engineering with strong Python and/or Java proficiency
3+ years AI/ML systems in production including LLM-based applications
1+ years designing or building agentic AI systems (reason, plan, use tools—not just chatbots)
Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel
Tool-calling patterns: MCP, OpenAI function calling, Anthropic tool use
Evaluation methodologies for non-deterministic systems
Human-in-the-loop workflow experience
Pydantic AI fluency; deep LLM API experience (Claude, GPT)
