About the Role
Novartis is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer for the AI and Data Science Operations (BSI) team in Hyderabad to develop and deploy scalable GenAI and agentic AI solutions aligned with the International AI strategy.
The role drives innovation in generative models and LLMs while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy scalable AI solutions focusing on GenAI applications
- Drive innovation staying current with generative models and LLM advancements
- Collaborate with data scientists ensuring alignment within AI and DS initiatives
- Guide hands-on development and best practices for code quality and ML/AI Ops
- Collaborate cross-functionally integrating AI solutions across platforms
- Champion experimentation and adoption of best practices as AI role model
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's with 10–12 years or Master's with 8–10 years relevant experience
- Minimum 7 years advanced data science including 2–3 years leading DS/ML teams
- Experience delivering GenAI and agentic solutions at scale on AWS or Azure
- Deep understanding of autonomous AI agents: LangGraph, LangFuse, CoT, ReACT
Skills & Technologies
Required
Bachelor's with 10–12 years or Master's with 8–10 years relevant experience
Minimum 7 years advanced data science including 2–3 years leading DS/ML teams
Experience delivering GenAI and agentic solutions at scale on AWS or Azure
Deep understanding of autonomous AI agents: LangGraph, LangFuse, CoT, ReACT
Strong RAG and knowledge grounding techniques
Strong LLMs, classical ML/DL, time series, and statistical methods knowledge
Proficiency in Python with production model deployment
GenAI/ML platform certifications (AWS/Azure) — plus
